Kathy Doughty’s latest collection for Figo is Trade Winds, a densely patterned and richly coloured group that plays on themes of exotic flora and fauna, magical trade routes and riches from foreign lands. It’s a wonderful mix for lovers of boho style quilts (a la Anna Maria Horner).

Spark – Kathy has a free pattern on her website for a quilt called Spice Pots, but I also like the idea of just pairing up random prints from this group in a lot of HSTs.
