Studio Donegal have put together a rich collection of colours inspired by nature and intensified by the art of spinning. This tweed collection features minute slubs of contrasting colour that work into a fine tweed effect in the finished garment or accessory. Studio Donegal Woollen Mills is based in Kilcar, Co. Donegal. Traditional hand weaving and the creation of natural wool fibres have been practised in this area since before the 1700s. Studio Donegal as it exists today has been hand-weaving yarns and garments since the 1970s. (!)
