A striking Bagru block print in green and pink. Bagru, a small village in Rajasthan, 35 kilometres from Jaipur, is known for its hand block printing utilising traditional processes and natural colours. Bagru prints tend to be more simple with limited colours in comparison to Sanganer block prints which are more colourful with finer detail. Block printing is still practiced by the Chippa community, who have lived here for over 400 years.

These block prints are quilted with straight lines every 1cm. Please note the close up picture (last photo), these horizontal lines appear every metre so you will get these as part of your cut piece. Even if you order a 1m piece.

Please note that the cloth is 107cm wide but only 98cm of the widthhas been quilted.
